Bioenergy demand modelling tool
This sub-section of e-Tools provides forecasts of the production of district heat and power from different raw materials in the BSR countries based on different carbon price scenarios. Please select year of either district heat or power production forecast, i.e. year of 2030 or 2040, country of interest, and one of three carbon price scenarios, i.e. scenario of low, base (medium) or high carbon price. By specifying these parameters, users will be provided with a chart (see bottom area of this page) illustrating forecasted usage of different raw materials for the production of district heat or power.
For more information on here presented forecasts, including assumptions used for their development, please read “Report on market outlook and future viability of different bioenergy products and value chains in the BSR energy system”.
